Don't Forget:
10 Days to Save Your License
Your Drivers License is automatically suspended 30 days after you are provided notice of the adverse DMV action (usually at the time of your DUI arrest and release) unless you request a stay and a hearing to show that the suspension or revocation is not justified under the law. You must act within 10 days or your drivers license is automatically suspended by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. You must take action to avoid the automatic suspension.
California Driver's License: Order of Set Aside or Reinstatement
A primary goal for the DMV hearing is to have the DMV set aside the suspension of your license and/or to have your driver's license reinstated to a valid driver's licence status so that you may lawfully retain any valid license that you may have in your possesion. Accordingly it is important that you remember that your drivers license is automatically suspended 30 days after you are provided notice of the adverse DMV action unless you request a stay and a hearing to show that the suspension or revocation is not justified under the law.
